Indoor Composting 101 @Village Library
Want to start composting but are worried about bad weather? Join us for Indoor Composting 101, where an expert from the Central Shenandoah Valley Master Gardeners will teach us all about vermicomposting - a composting method that uses earthworms to break down food scraps into nutrient-rich fertilizer!
If you're interested in the art and science of composting, live in an apartment, or want to be able to compost year-round, join us for this fascinating program. Although this class is free, you'll also have the opportunity to create a small worm composting bin to take home with you for $7. Registration is requested for planning purposes, so click the "Register Now" button to save your spot!
