Thursday, November 18th at 7:00 Massanutten Regional Library, your Personal Telescope to the Universe, will virtually host a subject matter expert from NASA to talk about the importance of the James Webb Telescope. Webb is NASA’s ambitious scientific endeavor to reveal the hidden universe to our eyes using infrared technology: stars shrouded in clouds of dust, water in the atmospheres of other worlds, and light from the first galaxies ever formed. Scheduled for launch in Winter 2021, Webb will be the largest, most powerful and complex space telescope ever built and launched into space.
