"MRL has adapted with resilience throughout the pandemic, seeking creative and safe solutions to serve our constituents in the most effective ways possible,” stated Mary Golden Hughes, MRL’s Director of Advancement. “From curbside service, to online story times, to Zoom events, to virtual book chats, and book quarantining procedures when needed; we’ve sought every customer-focused and pandemic-safe avenue to provide our neighbors with continuous access to our books, DVDs, resources, and online materials by responding adeptly to the evolving changes on local, state, and national levels. Although we will continue to monitor future local caseload and health district data, we are thrilled to now bring expanded and more ‘normal’ service hours to our patrons in July. We are also very excited to offer our patrons - and all seeking information about MRL – an improved website www.mrlib.org that makes online access to MRL resources both easier and more complete effective July 6, 2021.
