Massanutten Regional Library has hired Megan Medeiros as its new Director of Advancement, a role that focuses on fundraising initiatives, public relations, marketing communications, and community building for the seven-branch library system. Medeiros replaces Mary Golden Hughes, who had served since 2021.

Massanutten Regional Library’s annual Summer Reading Program returns June 6, 2022 and runs through July 31, 2022 with the goal of encouraging thousands of Valley residents to read alongside MRL this summer. Themed “Oceans of Possibilities,” the free reading incentive program takes place at all seven MRL branches and includes special events throughout the Valley. The program ends on July 31, 2022.

Massanutten Regional Library has hired Mary Golden Hughes as its new Director of Advancement, a role which focuses on public relations, fundraising initiatives, marketing communications, and community building for the seven branch library system. Golden Hughes replaces Michael Evans who had been employed by MRL since 2014. Golden Hughes brings over 25 years of experience
