Massanutten Regional Library is pleased to announce that beginning Monday, July 6, 2026, they will offer expanded operating hours for our Shenandoah Community Library patrons to access the library six days a week, making all seven branches of MRL open at least five days a week.
While previously only open Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday, Shenandoah Community Library's expanded operating hours will help MRL serve the community even better, providing additional hours that patrons can access collections, services, and spaces. The opportunity to expand hours in Shenandoah is thanks in part to increased funding generously provided by Page County.
"We're thrilled to now be open on a variety of days, making it more convenient for people to access the spaces, materials, and resources they need when they need them," Megan Medeiros, Director of Advancement, said "We love adapting to better meet the needs of our community."
The new hours for Shenandoah Community Library will be Monday-Thursday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
"I am so excited that Shenandoah Community Library's hours of operation are expanding to six days per week. Patrons will have more opportunities to enjoy the space and connect with others, learn what the library has to offer, discover new ideas, and access valuable and enriching resources," Branch Manager Becky Deloney said.
