MRL Little Free Pantry
Massanutten Regional Library believes libraries are more than repositories of books—they are trusted community anchors that provide equitable access to information, resources, and support. Our Little Free Pantry (LFP) aligns directly with the library's mission to serve as a welcoming, responsive space where all community members feel valued and supported.
The Little Free Pantry hopes to create not only a practical resource, but also a visible symbol of compassion, dignity, and collective care—demonstrating that small acts of generosity can have a meaningful impact on the daily lives of community members.
MRL's LFP is located outside the front of the Central Library in Harrisonburg, accessible to all. Anyone is welcome to the contents of the Pantry at all hours of the day, seven days a week.
Sponsorship & Support
We are grateful for the sponsorship support of the Shenandoah Valley Electric Cooperative's Operation Round Up grant program. In addition, we also thank Venture Builders for their gracious support with the build of both the pantry and donation box. If you are interested in partnering with MRL to support the Little Free Pantry, please contact Megan Medeiros (mmedeiros@mrlib.org).
