MRL Brings Free Family Theatre Performances to the Valley

Bright Star Touring Theatre, a national touring theatre company based in Asheville, NC, is coming to Massanutten Regional Library December 1 – 3, 2022, with  holiday shows in Harrisonburg and Rockingham County. MRL is pleased to offer “Winter Fables,” and “A Dickens Tale” to the community as part of its nonprofit mission to provide ongoing literacy and outreach opportunities to all in its service area. Performances are free to the public and audience members do not need to be library card holders to attend.

All family-friendly shows are appropriate for children ages Pre-K through elementary school and have uplifting messages and familiar literary themes which will resonate with attendees of all ages. Performances are approximately one hour in length each and are designed to engage young audiences with the magic of storytelling through live performance.

Thursday, December 1, 2023 at 4PM – “Winter Fables” at Grottoes Branch Library, 601 Dogwood Avenue, Grottoes, VA

Saturday, December 3, 2023 at 11AM – “A Dickens Tale” at Village Library, 175 N. Main Street, Broadway, VA  

Saturday, December 3, 2023 at 2PM – “A Dickens Tale” at Central Library, 174 S. Main Street, Harrisonburg, VA.
